George Sanchez, Community Relations Director


George has lived in District Seven for over forty years, and brings with him a wealth of experience in educational leadership in our community. A former teacher, student advisor, student services administrator, and high school principal in the East Side Union School District, George has served on the School Board for the Franklin-McKinley School District for the past twenty-five years, including five terms as President. He is also a member of the Delegate Assembly for the California School Board Association, and was named Administrator of the Year in Student Services by the Association of California School Administrators. George’s son, Steven, teaches in the Phoenix Program at Santa Teresa High School, continuing the family tradition of educational commitment and service to the community.
