A lifelong resident of San José, Michael spent the last several years at San José State University’s Sourisseau Academy, where he worked as an archivist to preserve our local history. As a judicial intern for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, Michael organized and indexed the Court Archives. These experiences have given him a deep understanding and appreciation of the city’s rich and vibrant history. A proud graduate of Lincoln High School, Michael spent his summers volunteering at, and later developing programs for, the San José Public Library, where he also served as President of the library’s TeensReach organization. He received his B.A. in American History from Stanford, where he also researched local and regional policy issues.
